Please take note that winter field studies demand more detailed and rigorous planning than do those in the spring and fall.

All students must be properly dressed for winter trips, even when the weather is comparatively mild.

If any student arrives unprepared, concern for safety dictates that the field trip may be cancelled.

Be aware that winter weather makes risk management more complex than it often is in other seasons and as a result trips may be cancelled more frequently and on shorter notice.
