2026 Elementary Cross Country Run - Douglas Park Track
Important information for 2026 races:
- race will start at 3:30 p.m. Please book your buses to have them pick you up no earlier than 2:30 p.m.
- runners must be 8 years old by December 31, 2026 to participate.
The cross country race route will start and finish north of the ball diamonds. The route map is attached below.
There is very little parking for personal vehicles and our staff will only be helping with bus parking. We strongly recommend parents carpool or ride the bus with the students.

Wednesday, September 23, 2026 – Qualifier's Race
Participants for this race will be the top 25 racers from each age category of the previous two races.
Schools will be notified with the names of the students who qualify to participate in this race.
We do not have another date available in case of weather due to the Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The meets will be held at Douglas Park. Please refer to the attached map and go over the information with all runners before each race.
