- Students will experience northern games,, using a qulliq lamp, and the Inuktut language.
- This field trip requires preparation in the classroom prior to the field trip. Please see below.
- Students must be appropriately dressed to be outdoors for half a day.
- Students requiring a wheelchair can participate in this opportunity by using by requesting the Outdoor Education's sled.

- Teams research their Inuit group and have some facts to share on the field trip.
- Learn about the history and purpose of Inuit games.
- Watch podcasts (Inuit Cultural Online Resource).
- Learn some Inukitut words and phrases.
- Optional: Research Inuit clothing, art, and government (Tapirlit Kanatami)
