Grade Seven Canoeing

The Regina Public School Board offers canoeing as a component of the physical education program at the Grade 7 level. The students receive three lessons - one orientation lesson at the Lawson Pool and two lessons on Wascana Lake. Instruction is provided by the Wascana Racing Canoe Club. Canoeing provides the students with a lifelong recreational skill. This is not a certification program.

Classes will be transported by bus, unless they are within walking distance of the canoe site. Where transportation is used, the total cost is $4.50 per student.
