Saskatchewan Animals

Presentation is an introduction to some of the birds and animals who either live permanently in Saskatchewan or spend part of the year in the province.   Information will focus mainly on the physical characteristics of the species.  Depending on the group the discussion could also continue into specific adaptations and behaviours of survival.

The presentation is approximately 45 minutes in length and requires 3 long tables to display the animals.

Specimens will be brought into the class and will include a variety of mounted animals and birds.

The Saskatchewan Species presentation is recommended for the following:

  • FIAP
  • Discovery Pre K
  • Kindergarten and Grade 1 classes
  • Program for Students with Visual Impairments
